Ring Doorbells!

We would like to address “Ring” type doorbells and how they may not detect/show that your lawn was serviced! We want to address this, as we have received a few concerns from customers that our technicians have not completed service in its entirety.

In each of these cases, we h ave gone back to investigate if the service in question had been completed. So far, in all cases, there has been evidence to show that the service was completed. Whether it be tracks in the yard from a spreader, or granular product on the ground in the area in question, there have been indications of service. In one instance, there was a service in question by one spouse, and after looking into the concern, we found out that the other spouse had a conversation with the technician (in this case, one of the owners) while he was doing the application in question.

The one type of application that usually cannot be verified right away is a liquid application. That can take 7 to 10 days to see the outcome. In those cases, we can and will return to do a follow-up. We can only determine that service was completed if there is evidence of weeds dying off. In any case, we would complete a respray, at the request of a customer, should the weeds not be dying off. Either way, we can not complete a respray for 14 days from the time of the original spray in question.

After doing some research, there are some reasons the “ring” type doorbell may not be picking everything up. There is a list of factors that can affect the doorbell's effectiveness. A couple of main causes could be the range and sensitivity setting.
